At Buntopia, we’ve designed our rabbit accommodation with one goal in mind: comfort, safety, and freedom for every bunny guest. Each pen is thoughtfully built to provide the space, security, and stimulation that rabbits naturally crave — no wire floors, no cramped cages, and never an off-the-shelf hutch in sight.
Whether indoors or outdoors, our pens are large, airy, and enriched with natural materials like straw, dust-free shavings, and fresh foraging. Rabbits can stretch out in quiet corners, hop freely, or snooze in waterproof shelters, depending on the weather and their preferences.
All accommodation is cleaned daily, maintained to the highest standards, and monitored for comfort. We’re proud to offer a calm, happy environment where your rabbits can settle in with ease.
Indoor Pens And Enclosures
Our indoor pens are housed in a beautifully restored pigsty, part of our farm’s original heritage when it operated as a working pig farm. Now thoughtfully transformed, the building provides a cool, well-ventilated environment, ideal for rabbits during the warmer months. Every pen has been hand-built by Jim, with care and attention to detail, ensuring they are secure, spacious, and perfectly suited to the needs of rabbits — not adapted from cages or generic pet housing.
To create a calm and familiar atmosphere, a gentle radio plays throughout the day, helping our guests feel settled and at ease. Each pen is also equipped with a dedicated camera, providing 24/7 monitoring for safety and giving owners the option to check in remotely for added peace of mind.
This unique blend of purpose-built accommodation, natural airflow, and quiet rural charm makes our indoor pens a popular choice for year-round rabbit boarding in Aylesbury and the wider Buckinghamshire area.
Outdoor Pens And Enclosures
Our outdoor accommodation gives rabbits the chance to enjoy the fresh air and natural surroundings of the countryside. We offer two types of outdoor setups: permanent bark-covered runs and moveable grass runs, both designed to provide plenty of space and stimulation.
The permanent outdoor pens are laid with natural bark flooring, ideal for digging, hopping, and foraging. These runs are used regularly when the weather is dry and offer ample shade and shelter, giving rabbits the freedom to be active while staying comfortable and secure.
We also have a large, enclosed grass area where we place moveable pens with built-in shelters, allowing our guests to enjoy the benefits of fresh grass, grazing, and open space. These pens are rotated frequently to keep the grass healthy and clean, while giving your rabbits an enriching and ever-changing environment.
All outdoor pens are used only in safe, suitable weather, with constant supervision and access to shade and water. It’s a natural, enjoyable experience that lets your rabbit stretch their legs and embrace the outdoors — all within the safety of our purpose-designed facility in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
